The Greater Accra Region will play a crucial role in determining the outcome of Ghana’s 2024 elections, according to the GA Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II. The monarch made this declaration during a courtesy visit from Nana Kwame Bediako, leader of the New Force Movement, who sought his blessing and permission ahead of his regional tour.
Describing the upcoming election as the most significant in the history of the 4th Republic, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II emphasized the need for a peaceful process. “This year’s election, Accra will decide, Accra will decide… it is the most important election in the whole of the 4th Republic,” he stressed. “However, we must restrain ourselves from being used to hurt each other.”
The Ga Mantse urged political parties to campaign peacefully and respectfully, promoting unity and cooperation. He encouraged citizens to actively participate in the electoral process, ensuring their voices are heard and their votes count.
Nana Kwame Bediako, seeking the Ga Mantse’s blessings, pledged to foster peace and unity through his campaigning.
