Three-Year-Old Boy allegedly Killed in Car Crash Involving Lil Win Buried
A somber mood has engulfed the family of Nana Yaw, a three-year-old boy who lost his life in a car crash involving actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, on Saturday in Amakom.
Witnesses reported that Lil Win was driving at a high speed when his car collided with the vehicle carrying Nana Yaw and his father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah. The crash resulted in the tragic loss of Nana Yaw’s life, while his father is currently receiving treatment for a leg fracture at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
The family’s vehicle, which was severely damaged in the crash, is now in police custody as investigations continue. The relatives of the deceased are urging the police to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure justice is served. They are also considering legal action and have expressed concern about the lack of attention given to the victims at the accident scene, while the focus was primarily on the actor.
According to Yaw Gyamfi, a relative of the deceased, “Both eyewitnesses and police sources confirmed that Lil Win was driving excessively fast and veered off his lane. He must be held accountable for his actions.” Gyamfi emphasized that the law must be enforced to ensure justice for Nana Yaw.
Lil Win, who also suffered injuries in the accident, was seen in a video being carried into another vehicle. His branded Benz, which was involved in the accident, was severely damaged. Another video showed a woman whose car was also hit, alleging that the actor was driving at high speed and was not in his lane.
Despite the incident, Lil Win attended the premiere of his movie “A Country Called Ghana” in Kumasi on Saturday night. The actor’s managers, who were present at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, declined to comment when approached by the media.
As the bereaved family lays their three-year-old to rest, they continue to seek justice and demand accountability for the tragic loss of their loved one.
