Ghanaian actor and musician Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, was involved in a car accident on Saturday morning in Amakom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti region.
According to eyewitnesses, Lilwin’s salon Benz car collided head-on with another vehicle in front of the Grace Baptist Church at Amakom. He was traveling with two others at the time of the incident.
Lilwin and the other passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.
The accident occurred while Lilwin was on a radio tour promoting his latest movie, “A Country Called Ghana”, which was set to premiere in Kumasi on the day of the accident.
No further details on the extent of the injuries or the cause of the accident have been released at this time.
