Alleged Thief Brutally Attacked and Given ‘Sakora’ Haircut in Bibiani Old Town

A young man, identified as Prince, also known as Baron De Young Don, faced severe assault in Old Bibiani, Western North Region, over suspicions of theft.

Accused of stealing a flat-screen TV, a standing fan, an iPhone, cash, and other items, Prince endured the wrath of locals who labeled him a notorious thief with a penchant for preying on the community.

Narrating the ordeal, an eyewitness recounted how Prince, who sported minimal hair, was forcibly shaved post-beating.

Residents claimed Prince’s modus operandi involved surveilling victims before striking.

His capture came after a vigilant friend, also a victim of theft, tracked him down and uncovered stolen goods in his possession.

Subsequently apprehended by locals, Prince reportedly faced brutal treatment, including scalding with hot water, as his assailants demanded information on the whereabouts of other stolen items.

Despite attempts to defend himself, Prince was subdued, leading to intervention by his relatives who sought assistance from the area’s Assemblyman, Daniel Kaakyire Addae.

As a result, Prince was handed over to the police, marking a violent turn in the pursuit of justice within the community.”
