The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bole, Abdulai Muhmod, was involved in a road accident while traveling to Tamale in the Northern Region.
His vehicle, registration number SR-27-25, was en route from Bole to Tamale for official duties when the incident occurred near Galinzegu, close to Kusawgu in the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency of the Savannah Region, along the Fufulso-Tamale highway.
The DCE is currently receiving treatment at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH).
A close relative has confirmed that he is in stable condition.
