Nii Odartey Lamptey resigns as Eleven Wonders coach

- Nii Odartey Lamptey steps down after seven winless matches as Eleven Wonders coach
- Team sits 17th on the league table with only two points from 21
- Recorded two draws and five defeats under Lamptey’s leadership
Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey has reportedly resigned as head coach of Eleven Wonders after a disappointing start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Lamptey, who was appointed before the campaign began, leaves after seven matches without a single win.
Eleven Wonders currently sit 17th on the league table with only two points from a possible 21. Under his tenure, the Techiman-based side managed two draws and suffered five defeats, struggling both home and away.
Their season opened with a goalless draw against Holy Stars, followed by a heavy 4-1 home loss to Heart of Lions and a 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak in Accra. Further setbacks against Young Apostles, Samartex, and Nations FC compounded their poor run, with a draw against Karela United providing their only respite.
Following Lamptey’s departure, Eleven Wonders will shift focus to their Matchday 8 clash with Aduana FC, who are currently in strong form.
