Ghanaian forward Francis Abu has completed a move to French Ligue 1 side Toulouse during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old signs from Belgian club Cercle Brugge on a four-year contract, with the deal reportedly valued at €2.5 million.

In his first interview with Toulouse’s media team, Abu shared his excitement:

“I’m very happy to be here. I can’t wait to embrace this new challenge and become part of this amazing family. I’m also looking forward to discovering the Pink City and meeting all the incredible supporters.”

Abu made 100 appearances for Cercle Brugge, scoring three goals and providing seven assists during his time in the Belgian Pro League.

He attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, including Başakşehir FK, Trabzonspor, Burnley, Torino, and Genoa, but Toulouse ultimately secured his signature.

A graduate of Ghana’s renowned Right to Dream Academy, Abu began his European career with FC Nordsjælland in Denmark before moving to Belgium.

He has earned six caps for the Ghana national team since making his senior debut in 2024.
