  • All legal processes initiated by the OSP continue

The High Court (Criminal Division) has dismissed an application by former Finance Minister Kenneth Ofori-Atta seeking to overturn an arrest warrant issued by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).

Mr. Ofori-Atta had challenged the legality of the warrant, claiming it was improperly obtained, and called on the court to invalidate all related actions—including an Interpol Red Notice issued at the OSP’s request.

However, in a ruling delivered on Thursday, July 31, the court held that the application was without merit and dismissed it in full.

As a result, the arrest warrant and all associated legal processes remain valid and enforceable.
