Ahead of Ghana’s match against South Africa on Monday, July 7 at 16:00 GMT, Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren expressed confidence in the progress his team has made.
In a pre-game interview, he highlighted the growth of the squad as they prepare to face the defending CAF Women’s AFCON champions. Ghana is also set to compete against Mali and Tanzania in Group C in the upcoming fixtures.
The Black Queens are determined to advance beyond the group stage for the first time since 2016.
