The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced a re-run of the parliamentary election at 19 polling stations in the Ablekuma North constituency.
The re-run is scheduled for Friday, July 11, 2024.
In a press statement, the Commission explained that this measure aims to resolve the deadlock caused by the delayed announcement of results nearly seven months after the general election.
The EC reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent and credible election and called on all stakeholders, particularly political parties and their supporters, to cooperate fully to ensure a peaceful and fair process.
