The 97th Academy Awards took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Dolby Theatre, Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles, following the release of nominations for the film industry’s finest stars and movies from the past 12 months.

Anora, produced in 2024 by Sean Baker, swept the most honors, taking home five awards, while Conclave, The Brutalist, Wicked, and Emilia Pérez also secured wins.
