Multi-award-winning global sensation Stonebwoy has unveiled his sixth studio album, “UP & RUNNIN6”, now available worldwide via Burniton Music Group (BMG) in partnership with Warner Music Group’s ADA Worldwide.
The 13-track album features chart-topping hits “JEJEREJE” feat. Ginton, “EKELEBE” feat. ODUMODUBLVCK, “PRAY FOR ME” feat. Wyclef Jean, and “YOUR BODY”, which have collectively amassed millions of streams and dominated radio airplay globally.
“UP & RUNNIN6” also boasts new track and video “MEMORIES” feat. Ir Sais, alongside notable collaborations with Duncan Mighty, Blvk H3ro, KaylanArnold, Chi Ching Ching, Amaria BB, Spice, Jahmiel, 10Tikk, and Larruso.
In a recent GRAMMY interview, Stonebwoy shared insights on his feature selection process: “I’m just paying attention to an inner quest of moving in the UP & RUNNIN6 direction, without necessarily looking at the technicalities. I am moving with a vibrational understanding, but I’m just realizing now what meaning I’m making on a technical level.”
“UP & RUNNIN6” marks a welcome return to Stonebwoy’s Afro-Caribbean roots, blending Afrobeat, Dancehall, Reggae, Highlife, Amapiano, and R&B. The album explores themes of introspection, romance, spirituality, and empowerment, showcasing his versatility and commanding vocal presence.
Produced by an array of talented producers, including Samsney, Bijan Amir, and Mix Master Garzy, “UP & RUNNIN6” solidifies Stonebwoy’s legacy as a groundbreaking artist. The album follows his critically-acclaimed predecessors, “Grade 1”, “Necessary Evil”, “Epistles of Mama”, “Anloga Junction”, and “5TH DIMENSION”, which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard World Reggae Album Chart.
