The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has called off its scheduled Presidential Evening Encounter with Nana Kwame Bediako, known as Cheddar, who is the founder and leader of the New Force Movement.

Cheddar was set to attend the event on Wednesday, September 18, at 6 PM, but withdrew without providing a reason.

The IEA had previously released a timeline for its presidential encounters and debates on Friday, September 13, with Cheddar’s appearance initially planned for this week, followed by Alan Kyerematen’s scheduled appearance on September 24.

Additionally, the IEA has set October 22 and November 19, 2024, for its first and second presidential debates, respectively.
