Music producer Buddy Roro, a member of Esther Smith’s management team, has addressed recent accusations made by gospel artist Lady Prempeh regarding her exclusion from Smith’s concert in Accra.

Lady Prempeh had voiced her frustration over being scheduled to perform at the event but not being called on stage despite attending the dress rehearsal. She also noted that neither Esther Smith nor her management had offered any explanation or apology for the oversight.

In response, Buddy Roro has disputed Lady Prempeh’s account, suggesting that her comments might be aimed at garnering publicity for her upcoming music release. Roro acknowledged that Lady Prempeh did attend the dress rehearsal but explained that her performance was omitted due to timing conflicts.

According to Roro, Lady Prempeh was slated to perform at 6:37 PM but arrived three hours late because of delays with her styling team. By the time she arrived, Esther Smith was already on stage, delivering the final performance of the evening.

Roro clarified that Lady Prempeh was not the only artist affected; others who arrived late also missed their scheduled performances due to time constraints.

He further noted that Lady Prempeh and her team had repeatedly requested a public apology, which the management declined, asserting that they were not at fault. Roro suggested that Lady Prempeh should instead apologize to the event organizers for her tardiness and its impact on the schedule.

Roro accused Lady Prempeh of exploiting the situation surrounding Esther Smith’s concert to gain attention.
