Fantana Expresses Relief as Her Mother, MP Dorcas Affo-Toffey Escapes Serious Accident

Singer and entrepreneur Francine Koffie, widely known as Fantana, has responded to a near-fatal accident involving her mother, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, the Member of Parliament for Jomoro. The accident occurred on Thursday at Komenda Junction on the Takoradi-Cape Coast-Accra Highway.
The incident took place as Affo-Toffey and her entourage were returning to Accra following a campaign launch at Half Assini over the weekend. The vehicle carrying the MP and her team narrowly avoided a serious collision.
In a heartfelt social media post, Fantana expressed her gratitude for her mother’s safety. “Thank God for saving the team, particularly my mother,” she wrote. The singer also conveyed her deep love for her mother.
Following the accident, Affo-Toffey and three other occupants were promptly transported to the hospital. They are currently receiving medical attention, and despite the vehicle’s significant damage, all four individuals are reported to be in stable condition.
