Asantehene Blesses Ashanti Warrior Ahead of International Bout

To boxer Stanley Nyantakyi, it will be remiss on his part to miss the blessings of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II in any bout.

The 23-year-old has made it his tradition and ritual to inform and get the prayers of the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, before he honours all his bouts.

It was no different this time around. The boxer is booked for a highly anticipated international bout- his international debut- in the United States of America (USA) early in December.

The National Featherweight Champion and UBO Africa Featherweight Champion took advantage of the Awukudae Festival at the Manhyia Palace on August 28, 2024, to take the blessings of the King.

He was accompanied by Osibor Boxing Management and Promotion, his management.

His Majesty laid hands on the young decorated Ghanaian boxer and imparted to him some blessings.

Bout
Ashanti Warrior will face off with 30-year-old Argentine boxer Sergio Sosa on December 7, 2024.

The event will take place at the Menomonee Casino Resort in Wisconsin in the US.

The two will battle it out for the UBO World Featherweight title.

Whereas Nyantakyi has won 10 of his 11 bouts, Sosa has to his credit 13 wins out of 17.
