- Mr. Beautiful defends polygamy, says it's not a bad practice
- He claims only poor men see polygamy as a waste of resources
- Wealthy men find having multiple wives "enjoyable", he adds
Ghanaian comedian and actor Clement Bonney, widely known as ‘Mr. Beautiful,’ has voiced his support for polygamy, asserting that the practice is not inherently flawed.
In a recent interview with Cape Coast-based Property FM, Mr. Beautiful discussed his views on polygamy, suggesting that negative perceptions of the practice are often held by those who lack financial resources.
The Kumawood actor argued that, contrary to popular belief, having multiple wives is not a waste of resources. “In this world, if you don’t have money and people talk about having multiple wives, you would see it as a pointless issue,” he stated.
He further elaborated, “When you’re broke or poor and they discuss people who have married two or three wives, you get angry and say it’s stupid. But if you were rich, you’d realize that having multiple wives is actually quite enjoyable.”
