The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reaffirmed its commitment to prioritizing national security as it prepares to implement its flagship 24-hour economy policy. To achieve this, the party has outlined a comprehensive security plan, which includes several key initiatives.

Firstly, the NDC plans to recruit 25,000 additional security personnel to bolster the nation’s security forces. This move aims to enhance the capacity of security agencies to maintain law and order, ensuring a safe environment for economic activities to thrive.

Another key aspect of the plan is the introduction of community policing initiatives, which will foster closer collaboration between law enforcement and local communities. This approach recognizes the importance of community involvement in maintaining security and preventing crime.
