Nana Tonardo has apologized to Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, also known as Ajagurajah, for defaming him. The bishop has accepted the apology and agreed to forgive Tonardo, promising to reverse any curse he may have placed on him.
Tonardo visited Ajagurajah at his residence in Koforidua to make amends for past offenses, bringing an end to their long-standing feud. Both parties documented the reconciliation on social media, sharing their journey towards peace.
“I have visited my elder brother to make peace with him. I usually don’t apologize to people, so the fact that I traveled from Tema to Koforidua to make peace with him shows that I am serious. I should have verified the truth with you when I first heard the news. Please forgive me,” Tonardo said in his apology.
Bishop Asiamah assured Tonardo that any spiritual repercussions from their conflict would be addressed. “Thank you for coming to hear the truth. Whatever I said or did against you spiritually will be overturned,” he said. He also expressed his intention to move forward peacefully, adding, “I’ll consider you my brother, and we will live peacefully.”
Tonardo also addressed recent health issues, dismissing speculations linking them to his feud with Ajagurajah. He clarified in an interview with Kwaku Manu that he did not believe Ajagurajah was responsible for his health problems.
The reconciliation follows a series of events that began in February 2023, when Tonardo led a campaign against Ajagurajah after a German-based Ghanaian woman named Gladys accused the bishop of rape. Throughout this period, Tonardo was vocal in his criticism of Ajagurajah and supported Gladys in various media appearances.
