Bournemouth have strengthened their squad with the signing of Mexican right-back Julian Araujo from Barcelona.
The 23-year-old has penned a five-year deal with the Cherries, becoming their fifth summer acquisition.
Araujo joined Barcelona from LA Galaxy last year but spent the season on loan at Las Palmas in Spain’s top flight.
Bournemouth’s chief executive, Neill Blake, expressed his delight at securing the young defender’s signature, highlighting the club’s long-standing interest in Araujo.
With experience in both MLS and La Liga, Araujo brings a wealth of talent to the south coast club.
The Mexican international is expected to compete for a starting spot in the Bournemouth team.
