An 18-year-old girl, identified only as Adwoa, has reportedly been murdered by her boyfriend in Nkawkaw Krofofrom, located in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The accused, Kwaku Siaw, who works as a washing bay attendant, has yet to be apprehended.
According to report, Siaw is currently on the run.
Adwoa’s parents are perplexed by the incident, as their son had been living harmoniously with Adwoa and their two children.
They expressed their confusion, stating that although the couple had occasional disagreements, there were no signs of trouble on the day of the tragedy.
Neighbors have also expressed their disbelief, noting that the couple appeared to be in a stable relationship and cannot understand what might have led to such a tragic event.
