Global Citizen, a leading international advocacy organization, has announced a strategic partnership with The Livingstone Foundation (TLF), founded by renowned musician Stonebwoy, as part of its upcoming Move Afrika: Ghana campaign.

The collaboration is designed to bolster TLF’s mission and support its efforts to expand its impact both within Ghana and globally. According to Global Citizen, TLF was chosen for its extensive reach, proven impact, and focus on women’s and children’s health across various regions in Ghana.

This partnership aims to amplify TLF’s capacity to advance its goals and broaden its influence. The Livingstone Foundation will join four other non-profit organizations in the Move Afrika campaign.

Move Afrika is dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by enhancing social and economic development, creating jobs, and empowering non-profits to drive local change.

Liz Agbor-Tabi, Vice President of Global Policy and Strategic Relationships at Global Citizen, emphasized the significance of the partnership: “Through this partnership, Global Citizen and its non-profit partners will work collaboratively to create lasting change and drive progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals across Ghana.”

Agbor-Tabi further noted, “By increasing health financing and supporting the critical work of these non-profit organisations, our Move Afrika: Ghana campaign aims to contribute to a healthier, more prosperous future for all Ghanaians.”

Dr. Louisa Ansong-Satekla, Director of The Livingstone Foundation, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership: “We’re excited about this new collaboration with Global Citizen for the Move Afrika campaign. We share a common vision of creating a better world for future generations, and this partnership will enable us to scale our efforts and make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.”

Founded by Stonebwoy, The Livingstone Foundation focuses on improving the quality of life for Ghanaians through education, youth empowerment, healthcare, and disability justice. The foundation provides educational resources, skill development programs, and advocacy for underserved communities and individuals with disabilities, promoting inclusive access to education and opportunities for all.
