American television host Nick Cannon has revealed the reasoning behind his decision to take out a $10 million insurance policy on his testicles, deeming them his “most valuable assets”.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cannon explained that he was inspired by other celebrities, particularly athletes, who have insured valuable body parts such as their legs. “I had to insure my most valuable assets,” he said. “Because you hear about like all these different celebrities insuring their legs… so I was like, ‘Hey, well, I got to insure my most valuable body part.'”
Cannon, a father of 12, has no plans to expand his family in the near future but wants to ensure that “nothing goes wrong” with his testicles. He partnered with Dr. Squatch, a men’s personal care company, to assess and protect his assets using their Ball Valuation Tool. The assessment considered factors such as size and bedroom performance, leading to a substantial insurance policy executed through Momentous Insurance Brokerage’s Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC (MMA).
With his characteristic humor, Cannon addressed the public, saying, “Haters say it’s time for me to stop having kids and put this super sperm to rest, but I’m doubling down on these valuable balls and my future kids.”
