Recently, at the Accra International Conference Centre, a solemn ceremony marked the induction of 182 freshly minted lawyers into the legal fold.

Chief Justice, Justice Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo, in her address, stressed the importance of maintaining integrity and diligence in the pursuit of justice.

She urged the newcomers not to compromise on thoroughness, highlighting the significance of rigorous preparation in delivering quality legal services.

The event, held in accordance with the Legal Profession Act of 1960, was attended by a multitude of well-wishers, including prominent figures like journalist Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie.

Notably among the new lawyers was social media influencer Elorm Ababio, known as Ama Govina, whose journey to the bar was marked by challenges.

Justice Torkornoo administered the oath of the legal profession, underscoring the commitment to uphold ethical standards and professional conduct. The presence of dignitaries such as the Deputy Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Diana Asonaba Dapaah, added gravitas to the occasion.
