Ghana has been placed in Group A alongside Nigeria and Benin for the upcoming WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations, scheduled to be held in Accra in 2025.
The three teams will compete for a place in the semifinals, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage.
Group B features Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Niger, and Togo.
The third edition of the WAFU Zone B U-20 tournament will run from July 10 to July 23, 2025, and will be hosted at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
This regional competition is a crucial platform for developing young football talent in West Africa and often serves as a qualifier for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
