Africa World Airlines (AWA) has announced a new start date for its upcoming Accra–Ouagadougou service, which will now commence on 1st July 2025.
Originally set to launch on 3rd June, the route’s debut was delayed due to “factors beyond our control,” according to a statement released by the airline.
In the public notice, AWA reiterated its dedication to safe, reliable air travel and strengthening regional connectivity.
“AWA remains committed to providing dependable air services and boosting integration across West Africa,” the statement read. The airline also extended its appreciation to customers and partners for their patience and ongoing support as preparations for the route’s launch are finalized.
Passengers are encouraged to monitor updates via AWA’s official website (www.flyafricaworld.com) and social media platforms.
The Accra–Ouagadougou route is part of AWA’s larger plan to improve air access and foster stronger links between key cities in the West African subregion.
