Actor and content creator Jefferey Nortey has opened up about his journey in the entertainment industry, highlighting the persistence and passion that have driven his career.
In an interview on The Chat with Ekow Koomson on Channel One TV, aired Saturday, June 7, 2025, Nortey shared that his rise in acting was not the result of a single defining moment, but rather a lifelong commitment to his dream.
“There wasn’t a big breakthrough for me,” he said. “Acting has been a passion since childhood, and I’ve appeared in many films—though not all are widely known.”
When acting roles became scarce, Nortey decided to take initiative and create his own opportunities.
“There was a time the scripts stopped coming in, so I started filming short scenes and made a short movie out of them,” he explained. “People loved them and started referring to them as skits. That gave me exposure, and I gave it my all.”
His creative drive and consistency eventually paid off, earning him greater visibility and new opportunities within the industry.
