The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Asante Akyem Central, Dr. Ekow Ebenezer Aidoo, has donated 400 dual desks to the Ghana Education Service (GES) for distribution to schools within the municipality.
The initiative is part of efforts to alleviate the shortage of desks and improve the overall learning environment for students in the area.
Speaking at a brief ceremony on Wednesday, Dr. Aidoo reaffirmed his commitment to advancing education in the municipality by ensuring the availability of essential teaching and learning resources.
He also called on philanthropists and well-meaning organisations in the area to contribute to the municipality’s broader development goals.
