The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has announced that, starting June 2025, it will begin reimbursing academic user fees for first-year students enrolled in accredited diploma or degree programs at public tertiary institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year. This initiative is part of the government’s No-Fees-Stress policy.
In a statement signed by SLTF Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Saajida Shiraz, the move is in accordance with policy directives from the Ministry of Education. It also aligns with the John Dramani Mahama administration’s commitment to enhancing human capital development and supporting the country’s youth.
Eligible students are advised to submit their applications through the official No-Fees-Stress portal: https://nofeesstress.sltf.gov.gh. Submitted applications will be cross-checked against admission records from the respective public tertiary institutions.
Dr. Shiraz urged all qualifying first-year students to apply without delay to ensure timely reimbursement. The SLTF also encouraged students to visit their official website for assistance with inquiries, complaints, or further information.
