The race for votes in the Telecel Ghana Music Awards has heated up in recent weeks, with artists ramping up their efforts to secure support.
Some artists have enlisted Public Relations professionals to help with their campaigns, while others are personally reaching out to fans on various platforms.
Ghanaian Afrobeat star KiDi is among those actively seeking votes, taking to social media to make his case. He boldly stated that his song Lomo Lomo stands above the rest in this year’s awards, writing, “No song should beat Lomo Lomo in ANY category! But I need you to vote, my loves.”
Lomo Lomo, featuring Black Sherif, has been nominated in several categories, including Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artist(s), Best Afrobeats Song, Collaboration of the Year, and the highly sought-after Telecel Most Popular Song of the Year.
