Peter Okoye Breaks His Silence

- Peter Okoye testifies in N1.38B fraud case
- Accuses brother Jude of financial control
- Claims exclusion from PSquare's bank accounts
After years of keeping quiet, Peter Okoye of PSquare has finally broken his silence regarding the long-standing fallout with his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, during his appearance as a witness in an ongoing N1.38 billion fraud case.
The artist, known to fans as Mr. P, took the stand at the High Court as the first prosecution witness for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This marked the first time Peter publicly addressed the internal issues of mismanagement and betrayal that plagued the PSquare brand.
While testifying, he alleged that Jude took complete control of the group’s finances by making himself the sole signatory on their business accounts at Ecobank, Zenith, and FCMB — effectively cutting Peter off from all financial decisions.
He also shared that the situation deteriorated further when they were building their houses in Ikoyi, Lagos. According to him, funding for his own property was suddenly withheld for six months after the group’s breakup.
After his court appearance, Peter took to social media, expressing that he had silently endured over 20 years of manipulation, all under the pretense of family loyalty.
“Love doesn’t manipulate, and real family does not drain or betray,” he wrote, giving followers a glimpse into the emotional weight behind his courtroom testimony.
