The Member of Parliament for Adansi Akrofuom, Joseph Azumah, has conducted an inspection of a 24-kilometre road project currently under construction in the Ashanti Region.
The road, which begins at Kojo Nkwanta in the Adansi Asokwa Constituency, passes through Biakwaso and Sikaman, and ends at Mensonso in the Adansi Akrofuom Constituency.
After the inspection, Mr. Azumah expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the project to ensure its successful completion.

“I am pleased with the progress, and I will continue to support the project to ensure that the contractor meets the set standards,” Mr. Azumah stated.
He also praised the contractor for employing a significant number of local workers, highlighting the positive impact on the community’s economy.
The MP further assured that he would collaborate with traditional authorities and other key stakeholders to provide the necessary support for the smooth execution of the project.
Bright Rhule, the site engineer from Limerica Ghana Limited—the company responsible for the construction—revealed that the road is expected to be completed within two years.
Rhule explained that while the road is being constructed using surface dressing instead of asphalt, high-quality materials are being utilized to ensure its durability.
