The accident involved five vehicles and is believed to have been caused by a Kia truck, registered GX 3456-21, which was carrying bricks. The truck is suspected to have experienced a brake failure, leading to a chain reaction.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck lost control on the Ring Road after its brakes failed, crashing into several vehicles, including private cars. Emergency responders, including police, quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured, including a young boy, to a nearby hospital. The victims, all of whom suffered serious injuries, are currently receiving treatment, while authorities investigate the cause of the brake failure.
