The Black Satellites of Ghana will resume their camp in Accra on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, as they ramp up preparations for the upcoming U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

After a one-week break following their participation in a three-nation tournament in Rabat, Morocco, the team is set to return to training under head coach Desmond Ofei. The squad will undergo intensive training sessions in Accra, including a series of friendly matches, as they fine-tune their strategies ahead of the continental tournament in Egypt. The 2025 U-20 AFCON will take place from April 26 to May 18.

Ghana has been placed in Group A, where they will face Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, DR Congo, and a team from the Central African Football Federations Union (UNIFFAC).

The Black Satellites are aiming for their fifth U-20 AFCON title, having previously won in 1993, 1999, 2009, and 2021. They also hold a historic FIFA U-20 World Cup victory, which they secured in Egypt in 2009.
