Sonnie Badu Warns Prophets Against Predicting Deaths, Urges Wisdom and Discretion

Gospel musician and preacher Sonnie Badu has issued a strong warning to prophets who publicly predict the deaths of individuals, particularly in relation to the health of Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.

In a social media post, Sonnie Badu expressed concern over the rising trend of prophets forecasting the demise of public figures, calling such actions irresponsible and fear-mongering.

He stressed that genuine prophecy should be delivered with wisdom and should focus on hope and redemption, rather than doom and gloom.

“There is something called the word of wisdom, meaning that whatever you see should be spoken with caution. Prophesying someone’s death doesn’t demonstrate power; it makes you a prophet of doom,” he stated.

Sonnie Badu urged prophets to be mindful of the emotional impact their predictions may have on families, encouraging them to mature in their ministry and exercise greater discretion in delivering messages.

Addressing the Vice President, he wished her a quick recovery and praised her tireless efforts during the election campaign.

“To our Vice President, Mummy, get well soon. Please take time to rest. You gave your all during the campaign and haven’t had the chance to rest. I’m praying for you. Love you loads, Mummy,” he concluded.

His comments come amid ongoing reports and speculations about the Vice President’s health, with some prophets making controversial statements regarding her condition.
