Ghanaian dancehall sensation Shatta Wale has once again proven his global influence, winning three major awards at the 2025 International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) in Florida, USA.
The prestigious event, which honors exceptional reggae and world music talents worldwide, saw Shatta Wale shine as one of the night’s biggest winners. He secured awards for Best Crossover Song, Best African Dancehall Entertainer, and Best Music Video.
His collaboration with Jamaican dancehall legend Bounty Killer on the song “Commando” earned him the Best Crossover Song award. The Best Music Video award went to his visually captivating video for “Killa Ji Ni,” known for its innovative concept and high-quality production.
For the fifth year in a row, Shatta Wale was named Best African Dancehall Entertainer, cementing his status as the leading figure in African dancehall.
