Saudi Clubs Eye Kudus, Ready to Meet £85M Release Clause

Story Highlights
  • Saudi Clubs eye Kudus, willing to exceed £85M release clause
  • Kudus has struggled this season, scoring just 3 goals for West Ham
  • Kudus missed Wolves loss due to training injury

Several clubs from the Saudi Pro League have shown interest in signing Mohammed Kudus as the upcoming summer transfer window draws near.

Kudus has faced a tough season, managing just three goals for West Ham United after a standout debut campaign last year, where he scored 20 goals in all competitions.

Despite his dip in form, Saudi clubs have reportedly inquired about the availability of the Ghanaian forward. Sources suggest that Kudus has an £85 million release clause, but these clubs are willing to surpass that amount.

No official agreement has been made yet, as Kudus is still under contract with West Ham until 2028.

In addition to interest from Saudi Arabia, the 24-year-old has also been linked with a potential move to Liverpool and other top European sides as the summer window approaches.

Meanwhile, Kudus missed West Ham’s 1-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Tuesday due to an injury he picked up during training. While the club has not revealed the full extent of the injury, it was enough to keep him out of the match.
