Hearts of Oak vs. Nations FC Set for Tuba Astroturf

Hearts of Oak will face Nations FC at the Tuba Astroturf on Thursday, April 3, as the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League action continues.

This change comes after the National Sports Authority (NSA) denied the club permission to use the Accra Sports Stadium for their rescheduled Matchday 21 fixture.

Although the Ghana Football Association (GFA) had initially scheduled the match at the Accra Sports Stadium, the NSA quickly clarified that the facility remains closed for renovations following Ghana’s 2026 World Cup qualifier against Chad.

Since September 2024, Hearts of Oak has been using the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon as their temporary home. However, that venue is also now unavailable, as it’s undergoing refurbishment in preparation for the CAF African Schools Football Championship, which will take place from April 21 to April 26, 2025.

With few alternatives left, Hearts of Oak has been forced to move the fixture to the Tuba Astroturf, where the match will kick off at 15:00 GMT.
