The Kasoa Ofaakor District Police Command in the Central Region has arrested two individuals suspected of being landguards after they allegedly stabbed two people without provocation.

The suspects have been identified as Richard Kwevi, also known as “Agenda,” and Samuel Okyere, referred to as “Kwadie Dede Aquard.”

The victims are in critical condition and are currently receiving treatment at the Kasoa Polyclinic.

In an interview with Adom News, Ntiamoah Ahenkorah, a friend of one of the victims and the Chairman of the Landlords Association, explained that the landguards confronted them and insisted they follow them to One Nai Atopi’s Palace.

Ahenkorah stated that the suspects attacked them after they refused to go with them, which led to a confrontation. During the struggle, one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a jackknife and stabbed his friend, while both victims were severely beaten.

At the same time, Nai Atopi has denied any connection to the incident, asserting that he does not know the suspects or have any ties to them.
