Emeritus Professor Kwasi Kwafo Adarkwa, a distinguished urban planner and former Vice Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has successfully released his autobiography, “Against All Odds.”
The book is designed to inspire and motivate readers, especially the younger generation, to remain determined and resilient in the face of challenges.
In an interview with Citi News, Emeritus Professor Adarkwa shared that “Against All Odds” encourages readers to step out of their comfort zones and pursue excellence, no matter the obstacles they face. The autobiography, officially launched on March 20, 2025, at KNUST, details his journey as Vice Chancellor, his involvement in major national infrastructure projects like the Tema-Mpakadan railway, the Volta Lake transport system, and the Pokuase Interchange, as well as his early life and the difficulties he overcame to achieve success.
“I was inspired to write this book because of the hardships I endured—what I refer to as the odds. But through resilience and God’s grace, I became Vice Chancellor of KNUST. This book contains valuable lessons for the youth and anyone who reads it to help them endure life’s challenges,” he said. The book is available in major bookstores across the country.
