Black Stars Look to Extend Unbeaten Home Record Against Chad

For 24 years, the Black Stars of Ghana have maintained an unbeaten record in World Cup qualifiers at home. Their goal is to extend this streak when they face Chad on Friday, March 21, at the Accra Sports Stadium during matchday five of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Otto Addo’s team aims to move to the top of Group I following Comoros’ loss to Mali on Thursday.

Currently, Ghana sits second in the group with nine points and a game in hand, just one point behind Madagascar.

The Black Stars have secured three victories from their first four matches in 2024, defeating Madagascar, Mali, and the Central African Republic. In contrast, Chad is at the bottom of the group after four losses in their opening games.
