Afenyo-Markin Shows Support for Dr. Ernest Addison Following Home Raid

Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has paid a visit to former Bank of Ghana (BoG) Governor, Dr. Ernest Addison, after National Security operatives raided his Roman Ridge residence.

The operation, which occurred early on Wednesday, was reportedly led by Richard Jakpa, Director of Special Operations at the National Security Secretariat. Approximately 15 soldiers, arriving in three separate vehicles and armed with rifles, forcibly entered the property.

They disabled the CCTV system and demanded Dr. Addison show them alleged “vaults” within the house, before proceeding to ransack the residence. They also took four of his six cars, which were later found parked in front of the Jokers Club in Labadi.
