The prosecution handling the murder case of Miss Joana Deladem Yabani has presented an amended charge sheet and an autopsy report to the court, marking a significant update in the ongoing trial.

During the proceedings, the court noted that the prosecution had not yet received guidance from the Attorney-General’s Office regarding the case.

Consequently, the police prosecution team has been instructed to work closely with the Attorney-General’s Office to expedite the trial process.

Master Daniel Tuffuor, a final-year student and the primary suspect in the alleged murder of his girlfriend, has been remanded once again for the second time.

The court has adjourned the case until April 1, 2025, to allow time for the Attorney-General’s advice and additional legal proceedings.

In a statement, the management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) reiterated its commitment to justice.

“We remain dedicated to ensuring that justice is served in a way that fulfills the expectations of the bereaved family and all concerned parties,” the statement stated.
