The Ministry for Sports and Recreation, through the National Sports Authority (NSA), has temporarily suspended the use of its e-ticketing platform for match ticket sales.

As a result, fans attending the 2026 World Cup Qualifier between Ghana and Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium will need to purchase printed tickets at the stadium gates.

Ghana first introduced a fully electronic ticketing system in 2022 for the Black Stars’ World Cup playoff match against Nigeria at Baba Yara Sports Stadium. However, the system has faced ongoing issues, including failures to verify tickets, internet connectivity problems, and other technical difficulties.

The NSA has not yet provided information on the designated points where fans can purchase tickets for the upcoming match.

The match between Ghana and Chad is scheduled for Friday, March 21, 2025, at 7 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ticket prices for the Ghana vs. Chad match at the Accra Sports Stadium are as follows:

  • VVIP – GH₵200
  • VIP – GH₵150
  • Lower VIP – GH₵100
  • Osu Stand – GH₵20
