Kofi Adams, the Minister of Sports and Recreation, has urged the Black Stars to showcase their talent and assert their dominance ahead of an important World Cup qualifier against Chad.

Ghana’s national team is preparing for two crucial matches during the March international break—first against Chad on March 21, followed by a game against Madagascar on March 24—as part of their campaign to secure a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In a pre-match address to the media, Kofi Adams encouraged the players to have confidence in themselves and demonstrate their abilities on the field.

“I told the players that there is no one better than them on this continent. They should believe in their quality and go out there to prove it,” he stated.

The Black Stars began their preparations on Monday with an initial training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, which was attended by nine players. The rest of the squad is expected to join the camp today as they finalize their preparations for the upcoming fixtures.
