Black Damsels Dominate with 7-1 Win Over Latvia

Ghana wrapped up their UEFA U-16 Development Tournament in impressive fashion, securing a dominant 7-1 victory over Latvia in their final match.
The Black Damsels showcased their attacking strength and teamwork, putting on a clinical performance. Seidatu Wahab opened the scoring with a composed finish, before quickly doubling her tally after exploiting a defensive mistake from Latvia to make it 2-0.
Daniella Abass then joined in on the scoring spree, finding the net with a well-executed strike to give Ghana a 3-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Ghana maintained their dominance. Christiana Ashiaku took center stage, netting two quick goals to extend the lead to 5-0.
Wahab completed her hat-trick with another confident finish, while Mavis Koah rounded off the scoring with a composed effort to make it 7-0. Latvia managed to grab a late consolation goal, but it had little impact, as Ghana’s defense remained largely untested.
With the 7-1 win, the Black Damsels triumphed in all three of their tournament matches, scoring a total of 20 goals while conceding just two.
