The Black Damsels displayed both attacking flair and tactical discipline, leaving Northern Ireland with no answers throughout the match.
Ghana seized control early on, with Priscilla Mensah breaking the deadlock in the 16th minute. Her composed finish showcased her poise in front of goal. Just 10 minutes later, she doubled her tally with another clinical strike, solidifying Ghana’s commanding position.
Seidatu Wahab also found the back of the net with a well-placed goal, extending Ghana’s lead to 3-0. The team’s fluidity and creativity in attack were simply too much for Northern Ireland to contain.
Daniella Abass rounded off the emphatic win with Ghana’s fifth goal, capping an exceptional team performance. Her goal served as a testament to the wealth of talent within the Ghanaian squad, as they relentlessly pressed forward, creating chances right up until the final whistle.
