Vinicius Jr. has expressed that he is “living the dream” at Real Madrid and is eager to extend his contract with the Champions League holders.

The 24-year-old Brazilian forward, who has two years remaining on his current deal, has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League. However, he remains calm about his future.

“My contract runs until 2027, and I hope to renew it as soon as possible because I am really happy here,” Vinicius said. “I’m living my dream of playing alongside the best players, with the best coach, the best president, and the best fans. Everyone here loves me so much. I couldn’t ask for a better place.”

Since joining Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2018, Vinicius has won three La Liga titles and lifted the Champions League trophy twice.

Real Madrid will continue their European campaign on Tuesday, facing Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their last-16 tie. Vinicius heads into the match with 102 goals from 300 appearances for the club.

“My childhood dream was to make it here,” he added. “Now that I’ve achieved that, I’m focused on writing my own story. I’ve won trophies, but there’s still so much more I can achieve, and I want to make my mark in the club’s history. It’s a tough task, though, because so many legends have been here, and I want to be just like them.”
