Several passengers have sustained varying degrees of injury following a collision between a Yutong OA bus and a mini bus at Danuwuri on the Sawla-Wa highway on Tuesday morning.
The Yutong OA bus, with registration number AS 244-19, was en route from Accra to Wa, while the mini bus was traveling in the opposite direction.
Eyewitnesses, speaking to Adom News, explained that the accident occurred when the driver of the OA bus attempted to avoid potholes upon reaching Danuwuri. In the process, the driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off his lane, resulting in the crash.
The injured passengers were quickly transported to the Sawla District Hospital for treatment. Authorities have not yet provided an update on their condition.
