6 Pusiga NPP Executives Suspended Over Alleged Anti-Party Behavior

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has suspended six constituency executives from the Pusiga Constituency due to allegations of anti-party behavior.

A letter issued on February 20, 2025, and signed by Anthony Namoo, Esq., the Upper East Regional NPP Chairman, instructed the executives to step down and appear before the regional disciplinary committee to address the charges.

The suspended executives include:

Awinimi Emmanuel, the suspended Communications Officer, confirmed the news to Citi News, stating that neither he nor the other suspended executives had been informed of the specific allegations against them.

“When I opened the letter, it stated that I had been suspended as the Communication Officer for the constituency and that the Regional Disciplinary Committee would invite me. I accepted that and took the letter. That’s all I can say,” he remarked.
